Based on your needs and goals: Do you need to improve your skills for work purposes? Do you have pronunciation issues? Do you want to improve your written French? Do you need to prepare for an exam?
Where do we start from: How many languages do you speak? Have you had any French lessons before? What are your contacts with the French language? Do you like grammar rules? Are you more of a “learning by doing” sort of person? Etc.
With a clearer idea of your language profile, I will be able to draft a better-suited proposal. If you're happy with it, we'll organize a first lesson free of charge – so that you can take your time and make an informed decision.
A learning path you feel comfortable with =

I have worked for over 20 years as an independent English into French translator, both for publishers and communications agencies. I stopped translating 2 years ago and...
...I went back to university in 2024 to study French as a Foreign Language (Français Langue Étrangère, FLE) at Pau University – UPPA. I thoroughly enjoyed it and got my D.U. in June 2025!
This career change didn't come as a big surprise to people who know me. In fact, I first came across French as a foreign language many years ago in England, giving French conversation and business French classes. I then taught English in primary schools in Soule and in Béarn-des-Gaves, and have been doing voluntary teaching for a migrant support group locally for 5 years in Amikuze.
To sum things up, I'm delighted to start on this new venture, with an up-to-date background on language teaching, learning and linguistics – which I keep updating through CPD classes.
Learning a language is a long process, and choosing
the right solution can be a long process too.
So let's talk about it:
